Programs

Smart Start Creative Learning Center features small classes with a dedicated and nurturing staff. We specialize in kindergarten readiness skills as well as a kindergarten that exceeds all state standards. Our themed curriculum is play and academic based. Each school day features hands on fun through messy art and creative science experiments. We do not require that our students be potty trained. Smart Start's small school atmosphere allows curriculum to be individualized to meet each child's specific needs.

Smart Start is also proud to be Eco-Smart certified, creating an Eco-Friendly school environment. All supplies are non-toxic; food is all natural and organic. Smart Start Creative Learning Center uses high proficiency solar panels and the best air circulation possible to cut down on air born allergens. Smart Start Loomis incorporates our 3 beautiful acres and many animals into our daily curriculum. Children are surrounded by nature daily.

Smart Start classes exceeds in all state standards in ratios, qualifications and expectations. Class ratios are kept low in each class with two highly trained teachers. This provides each child with the individual attention he/she deserves. Smart Start offers the child a great balance of play and academic readiness skills.

Coming to Smart Start 2010 is our private kindergarten program and our newly renovated Smart Start Preschool in Newark, Ca (formerly known as Birch Grove Preschool) as well as our brand new Loomis Ca, center. This program will exceed State standards and follow our Smart Start Creative Learning Center philosophy of hands-on learning. Both our preschool classes and kindergarten classes include Spanish and creative arts in the daily academic schedule. Horse riding lessons and music will also be apart of the curriculum in Loomis.

Newark Location Offers Full Time Care:
7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. M-F & Part Time Classes: 8:45 a.m. - 12:15p.m.
All Newark classes offer Daily Spanish Immersion, Creative Art, and Gardening & Academics.

Loomis Location: Classes are part time and three hours long.
All classes include Spanish Immersion, Horse Riding, and Organic Gardening and Age Appropriate Academics.
