President

Amber is the mother of four children as well as the President of Smart Start Early Childhood Specialists, Inc. In 2001 Amber dreamed of opening up her own preschool after her first son was born. Smart Start opened its doors in Fremont, Ca with four students. Within months 40 students were enrolled. Amber feels blessed to watch the growth of Smart Start Preschool as well as her own family. The key to Smart Start is the successful curriculum as well as the amazing staff at each site. The teachers are the key to any program and Amber understands this. The staff at Smart Start is the best around. They are hand-picked and trained to exceed all state standards.

When Amber is not busy with work or kids she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with friends or working on her novel. She feels privileged to now take Smart Start Preschool into other States and cities. Amber is committed to excellence in all she undertakes in both her Preschool endeavors as well as her consulting work with other families.

Smart Start staff exceeds all state standards. Each teacher has many years experience working with young children. All staff is fingerprinted as well as CPR and First Aid trained. All Smart Start teachers are here to support each child in his/her learning needs. All of the staff at Smart Start believe in the process not just the product. Our open-door policy allows parents to freely ask questions and get updates on their child. Smart Start is here to serve you and your child in the best possible way we know how giving each child the individualized attention and nurturing he/she needs. Class ratios are no more than 14 kids in each class with two highly qualified teachers. At Smart Start, we consider ourselves a school family!
